• The China Australian Sports International Exchange Center, under the auspices of the Shanghai Youth Sports Federation and supported by the Shanghai Sports Bureau, is dedicated to strengthening sports exchanges and cooperation between China and Australia. The center is committed to promoting mutual understanding and respect through sports while providing a platform for youth to showcase their athletic talents.

     

    Our mission is to enhance the friendship and develop teamwork and leadership skills among Chinese and Australian youth through various sports activities and exchange programs. Future planned events include friendly exchanges in popular sports such as basketball, soccer, table tennis, tennis, and athletics, as well as promoting sports that are popular in Australia but not yet widespread in China, such as NRL (National Rugby League), AFL (Australian Football League), and the emerging Olympic sport of lacrosse.

     

    Following a friendly match in 2019 between the South East Phoenix of Victoria, Australia, and Shanghai Jiushi Great White Sharks, plans are in place for the Shanghai team to visit Australia for exchanges with Australian NBL clubs, followed by invitations to Australian clubs to visit China.

     

    Additionally, we plan to organize friendly exchanges between the Chinese and Australian women's soccer teams and exchanges between Chinese table tennis teams and Australian teams. We also intend to regularly organize visits and exchanges between university sports teams from Shanghai and other provinces and their Australian counterparts, as well as learning trips to Australia for lacrosse among elementary and middle school students from Shanghai.

     

    To further educational cooperation, we have established partnerships with Australian universities that offer degrees in Sports Management, promoting educational exchanges in sports management between China and Australia.

     

    We believe that sports not only strengthen the body but also transcend cultural and linguistic barriers, connecting people from diverse backgrounds. Through these varied sports exchange activities, we hope to cultivate future sports leaders and contribute to societal progress and harmony.

          上海市青年体育联合会对外交流部旨在加强中澳两国在体育领域的交流与合作，致力于通过体育来促进两国文化的互相理解和尊重，同时为青少年提供展示其体育才能的平台。

     

           我们的使命是通过举办各种体育活动和交流项目，增进中澳青少年之间的友谊，培养他们的团队合作精神和领导能力。未来计划主办的项目包括中澳两国广受欢迎的篮球、足球、乒乓球、网球和田径等体育赛事的友好交流，以及推广在中国尚未流行但在澳大利亚广受欢迎的NRL（National Rugby League）、AFL（Australia Football League）以及奥运新兴项目棍网球的交流。

     

          继2019年澳大利亚维多利亚州的东南凤凰与上海久事大白鲨俱乐部的友谊赛后，上海久事大白鲨计划前往澳洲与澳洲NBL俱乐部进行交流赛，并将邀请澳方俱乐部访华。

     

           此外，我们还计划组织中国女足和澳大利亚女足的友好交流赛，以及中国乒乓球队与澳大利亚球队之间的交流。我们也拟定期举办上海及其他省份高校体育队与澳大利亚高校体育队之间的互访和交流，以及上海小学、中学生棍网球学习团前往澳大利亚学习交流。

     

          为了更进一步的教育合作，我们与澳大利亚设有“体育管理学”专业的大学建立合作关系，推动中澳之间在“体育管理学”方面的教育交流。

     

          我们相信，体育不仅能强身健体，还能跨越文化和语言的界限，连接不同背景的人们。通过这些丰富多彩的体育交流活动，我们期望能够培养出未来的体育领袖，促进中澳两国友谊与和谐。

    The forging of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and Australia in 1972 heralded a new chapter not just in political rapport but also in sports. The groundwork laid by Prime Minister Gough Whitlam facilitated a legacy of sports exchange that augmented the cultural and trade connections between the two nations.

     

    Olympic Moments

     

    The bond through sports was further solidified as both countries competed to host the 2000 Summer Olympics, with Sydney eventually emerging as the host city. This was followed by Beijing hosting the 2008 Summer Olympics, a reflection of both nations’ Olympic spirits and mutual engagement through sports.

     

    Recent Developments

     

    Marked by the 50th anniversary of Whitlam’s landmark visit, the recent years have seen a reaffirmation of the China Australian bond. Sports exchanges have been a significant part of this rejuvenation, fostering mutual understanding and cooperation.

    between Shanghai Sharks and SE Phoenix

     

    In 2019, during a time of diplomatic tensions, the SE Phoenix’s basketball tour in China stood out as a testament to the unifying power of sports. The highlight was the friendly match with the Shanghai Sharks in Shanghai and another game in Nanjing, deepening the ties between Victoria and its sister state, Jiangsu.

     

    The 2024 Encounter of Chinese and Australian

    Women’s Football Teams

     

    The Chinese women's national football team’s engagement with the Australian Matildas for two international friendlies in 2024 in Adelaide and Sydney represented another chapter in this rich history. With both matches poised as preparation for the Paris Olympic Games, this encounter was more than a game – it was a celebration of sportsmanship and the shared love for football.  And we would reach out to the Matilda to invite their team to visit China in the future.

     

    These events could be more than milestones in athletic performance but have also served as bridges for intercultural dialogue and understanding, showcasing sports as a universal language that unites and inspires.

    2024年中澳女足的相遇

     

            中国女足官方微博账号宣布，应澳大利亚足协的邀请，将与澳大利亚国家女子足球队进行两场国际友谊赛。这两场比赛预定在2024年5月31日在阿德莱德和6月3日在悉尼举行。未来也将邀请澳大利亚女足访华交流，在中国主场再度交锋。

    To The Senior Team Of Shanghai Juss Men's Basketball Club

    Shanghai Juss Sharks Basketball Club, formerly known as the Shanghai Men's Basketball Team under the Shanghai Sports Commission, was established in the early 1950s. Since its inception in the CBA league in 1996, it has fostered a multitude of former players for the Chinese national men's basketball team, including Yao Ming, Zhang Wenqi, Liu Wei, Wang Yong, and Zhang ZhaoXu. The club also won the CBA championship in the 2001-2002 season.

     

    In 2019, the Shanghai Government issued a directive mandating a prominent state-owned enterprise with extensive experience in the sports industry and substantial expertise in sports management to acquire the "Oriental Basketball Club". On May 24, 2019, Shanghai Juss Sports Industry Development (Group) Co., Ltd. completed the full acquisition of the club and rebranded it as "Shanghai Juss Basketball Club Co., Ltd." This heralded the commencement of the "Juss era" for Shanghai men's basketball team. Juss Sports is poised to leverage its resource advantages and assume a leading role in fully integrating the sports industry chain, demonstrating unwavering commitment and dedication to multidimensional development of the basketball club.

     

    The Shanghai Sharks is the only professional basketball team in Shanghai that participates in the CBA League (China Men's Basketball Professional League) and represents Shanghai in the National Games. In recent years, the team achieved third place in the 2021-2022 CBA season, which has achieved its best performance in the team's 20-year history, fifth place in the regular season of 2022-2023, and sixth place in the 2023-2024 season. The Shanghai Juss Basketball Team represents the highest level of basketball in Shanghai and is one of the shining nameplates of Shanghai's urban sports development.

     

    The club's primary responsibilities include managing the team and serving as the host of the CBA League,with the goal of achieving outstanding performance in the league.By enhancing market promotion, establishing a robust marketing system and team capabilities, integrating intangible assets and business resources, and cultivating comprehensive core competitiveness, the club actively explores a path of healthy and sustainable high-quality development while striving to establish a top-tier professional basketball club that aligns with the spirit of the city of Shanghai.

     

     

     

    上海久事男篮俱乐部一线队

    简介

         

     

           上海久事大鲨鱼俱乐部，前身是上海体育运动委员会下辖的上海市男子篮球队，成立于二十世纪五十年代初期。自1996 年参加CBA 联赛以来，培养出了姚明、章文琪、刘炜、王勇、张兆旭等多名历届中国国家男子篮球队球员，并在2001-2002赛季荣获 CBA总冠军。
           

          2019 年，上海市委市政府批示需有长期深耕体育行业且对体育事业有丰富管理经验，并肩负上海发展重任的大型国有企业来完成对东方篮球俱乐部的收购。2019 年5 月 24 日，上海久事体育产业发展（集团）有限公司全资收购俱乐部，并更名为“上海久事篮球俱乐部有限公司”，标志上海男篮步入“久事时代”。 久事体育可以充分利用自身资源优势，发挥在体育产业领域的全产业链融合，全情投入、全力推进篮球俱乐部的多维度建设。


           俱乐部是上海市唯一参加 CBA联赛（中国男子篮球职业联赛）的职业篮球俱乐部，是代表上海市参加全国运动会的篮球队。近几年，球队在CBA 联赛 2021-2022赛获得第三名，创队史20 年来最佳战绩；2022-2023 赛获得常规赛第五名；2023-2024 赛季获得第六名。上海久事篮球队代表着上海篮球运动的最高水平，是上海的城市体育发展的闪亮名片之一。


           俱乐部以球队运营和承办 CBA联赛为主要任务，以夺取联赛优异成绩为目标，通过加强市场推广、构建营销体系和团队能力建设，集成无形资产与业务资源，整体构建核心竞争力，主动探索健康可持续的高质量发展道路，努力打造符合上海城市精神的一流职业篮球俱乐部。
